Intense weather events can often hinder work to protect our most precious native animals. However recent snow at Patersons Terrace rabbit elimination site gave the Te Manahuna Aoraki Project team a blank canvas. Checking for tracks on the pristine snow turned out to be another way to understand whether we have successfully eliminated rabbits from the 75 hectare trial site.
